Avid Hemp Review

In this Avid Hemp Review, we are exploring superior CBD farmed in Colorado and California. Avid Hemp has partnered with farms serious about sustainable farming and quality-control. Avid Hemp chose to use C02 extraction because it is a more clean method. The farms that this company works with claim that they perform “organic practices” but they are not USDA certified. After perusing their posted lab results, some of them were last done about 8 months ago.  Avid Hemp was founded in 2017, but the owners had been researching hemp’s medicinal value for 20 years by then. They chose to work with farms they already had relationships with, taking the CBD industry head-on when the law loosened.

Product Range

Avid Hemp offers a full scope of CBD products. Their oils are purely full-spectrum with not a single additive. Whether your vegan or prefer gelatin-based gummies, you will find a candy you like. They also have many different dosages, ranging from 10mg to 25mg per gummy. Their massage oil is made with lavender oil, a popular ingredient for massage.  They also offer topicals, pet products, capsules, flower, and disposable cartridges. The pet line only includes oil and no treats. The oils include a bacon flavor and unflavored. One bundle pack is available meant as a sleep aid. It includes nighttime capsules, hemp oil, and gummies, all with melatonin in the ingredients.

Avid Hemp Oils

Avid Hemp carries the standard hemp oil in the flavors of Mint, Peach, and Unflavored.  Their nighttime blend with Melatonin only comes in a Mint flavor, to soothe you to sleep. Full-spectrum oil is used on every product so 0.3% or less THC is generally present. If you are concerned about failing a drug test, you may need to use caution when taking large doses of the oils. 500mg bottle comes with a 17mg dropper and a 1000mg bottle comes with a 34mg dropper. Choosing the proper size will make a difference in the effect.

  • CBD Keto Diet Oil 1,000mg: A unique item worth mentioning is their Keto Oil, which offers a whopping 34mg of CBD per tablespoon.  Oils and tinctures Avid Hemp sells contain only Full Spectrum CBD. However, their Keto Oil also contains MCT oil to add more fat.

Avid Hemp Flowers

Not many CBD companies carry flowers online. Avid brings four distinct flavors in 3.5 and 7.0-gram sizes plus a pre-rolled joint. The joints are at least one entire gram. Flavors include Hawaiian Haze, Lifter, Sulver Haze, and Sour Space Candy. The descriptions on all four read that they are all pretty much Sativa dominant with the exception of the Sulver Haze which claims to be a hybrid. Every jar of the flower has a QR code you can scan with your phone that shows third-party lab tests and other information. The soil is pH balanced and grown outdoors.

  • CBD Flower Lifter: A funky, stinky cheese-based scent. This tastes and smells similar to popular THC based flower but is almost a complete Sativa. Known to be an invigorating strain. Comes in a 3.5-gram jar or 7.0-gram jar.

Avid Hemp Gummies

Avid Hemp Gummies has the widest variety available. They sell both vegan and gelatin-based gummies, so no matter what your preference is, they have it. The gummies and rings are 17mg each and are available in 15ct to 180ct. They come shaped in bears, rings, and squares. They have one nighttime formula but it only comes in the vegan version which contains no gelatin or corn syrup in the formula. The vegan gummies include fruit juice and tapioca syrup to replace the animal-derived ingredients.  The site does not detail what the fruit flavors are, but claims they are assorted.

  • Avid Hemp Original Hemp Extract Gummies 3,000mg 180ct: Probably the largest jar of gummies you can find on the market. Each one is only 17mg, not like the whooping 25mg you can get at Nirvana. Flavors are assorted and contain corn syrup as the first ingredient. These are a good choice if you prefer to not go the vegan route.

The Good

  • Carries battery-free disposable CBD vapes
  • Offers both gelatin-based and vegan-based gummies

The Bad

  • Cannot guarantee to pass a drug test while taking their product
  • Does not list out the flavors of their gummies

The Bottom Line

Avid Hemp is an education first company that offers a well-written blog. They deal with trustworthy farms in Colorado. Avid Hemp Review produces an inside look at the type of farms and extraction methods trusted in the company. The methods came from 20 years of research and testing in the CBD industry.
